Are you aware of the amazing effect cosmetic dentistry treatments can have on your smile? Are you looking to remove damage or discolorations on your teeth? Do you have severely broken or damaged teeth that are in need of repair? Do you want to upgrade your smile by replacing missing or lost teeth? If so, all of these procedures are possible through the use of cosmetic dentistry. Effective cosmetic dentistry options to consider include the following:

Tooth Replacement Treatments:
– Dentures are designed to replace missing teeth with removable options for as little as one missing tooth or entire rows of teeth.
– Dental bridges replace missing or lost teeth with options that link and connect to nearby or neighboring teeth.
– Dental implants are designed to attach tooth replacements directly to your jawbone for a superior hold that will provide lasting benefits for a lifetime.

Tooth Restoration Treatments:
– Dental crowns are caps placed on top of teeth for a durable hold that can completely cover up a tooth and provide additional protection and a customizable look.
– Dental veneers are extremely popular options for customizing the look of your smile with thin shells placed on the fronts of teeth.
– Dental bonding treatments are designed to conceal and cover up issues on the surface of teeth.
– Teeth whitening systems are designed to eradicate deep stains and discolorations and help whiten your teeth for the shining smile you desire.

If you have trouble opening and closing your mouth full, you are not alone. Many people exhibit this symptom, which is caused by issues with your temporomandibular joints, or TMJs, in your jaw. If these joints are damaged, you are susceptible to TMJ disorder. At Denver Restorative Dentistry we offer treatment for our patients in Broomfield, Colorado, who suffer from this often painful condition. Let’s take a closer look.

— If you have been diagnosed with TMJ, you will want to halt the damage by avoiding certain behaviors. This could include biting your nails, chewing gum constantly, and eating hard foods that can stress the jaw joints.

— If your TMJ disorder results in pain or swelling, there is help for you. Treatment might include using heat packs for pain or using ice packs to reduce swelling.

— You can practice certain forms of yoga, or even biofeedback, to help you with any stress and anxiety which might be the cause of your TMJ disorder.

— If your TMJ is painful to your jaw, you might be suffering from the effects of bruxism. This sleep grinding behavior occurs while you sleep as you grind or clench your teeth due to stress. This will in time worsen your TMJ disorder.

Dr. Taylor Goggins and our team at Denver Restorative Dentistry have a variety of treatment options to help reduce your TMJ, including the use of an oral appliance to protect your jaw while you sleep. If you would like to know more or schedule a consultation with our team, please call 303-586-1019 in Broomfield, Colorado, today. We look forward to providing you with the relief you deserve!

Are your ready to take your smile to new heights of visual beauty? Set up your smile for summer success with tooth restoration treatments. If you have suffered tooth damage, you can reestablish your smile with one these helpful methods:

– Dental crowns are a tooth restoration procedure that can completely conceal a tooth down to the gum line to not only give it the look you desire but also to prevent any further damage from occurring to the tooth.

– Dental fillings are wonderful treatment options used to fill in the gaps for teeth that have been ravaged by cavities. Dental amalgams are great for large teeth and durability, while tooth-colored composites can be used to maintain the natural appearance of your teeth and are great choices for small and medium-sized cavities.

– Dental veneers are highly effective forms of cosmetic dentistry that are directly bonded to the fronts of teeth and can take any challenging teeth and hide the damage or irregularities behind a beautiful façade.

– Teeth whiteners are implemented to make your natural teeth whiter and brighter by removing deep stains and discolorations, with professional whiteners working by applying gel to your teeth that is safe, effective, and able to vastly improve the color of your teeth in a single day.

No matter which tooth restoration service you choose, the real importance is the oral health benefits each can provide. If you would like Dr. Taylor Goggins and our team at Denver Restorative Dentistry to bring you in for an oral exam to determine which treatment is best for you, please contact our dentist office in Broomfield, Colorado, by calling us at 303-586-1019. You can enhance your smile with a tooth replacement service from our team at Denver Restorative Dentistry in Broomfield, Colorado. Not only will tooth replacements make your mouth function better, but they can fill out your jaw making you look younger too. In addition, a missing tooth can cause loose gums around the gaps, which can free up nearby teeth to shift. You can avoid the unnecessary risks that come with tooth loss with one of the following tooth replacement options:

– Dental Implants: Dental implants are tooth replacement devices that surgically attach replacement teeth directly to the jawbone for a permanent hold that can last a lifetime.

– Dentures: Dentures are tooth replacement devices where missing teeth are crafted that can be removed and reinstalled by the owner at will. They are more likely to break or fail than dental implants due to the extra care required when handling them outside of the mouth. Partial dentures can be made for a few missing teeth, and complete dentures can be made to replace entire rows of teeth.

– Dental Bridges: Dental bridges are tooth replacement devices that are designed to fill the gaps left behind by missing or lost teeth. Typically used for only a few missing teeth at a time, prosthetic teeth for bridges, normally made of metal or porcelain, are crafted and held in place permanently by attaching themselves to neighboring teeth or implants.

If you have suffered tooth loss and need a tooth replacement service from Dr. Taylor Goggins or Dr. Roxanna Esguerra at Denver Restorative Dentistry, please call 303-586-1019 in Broomfield, Colorado. We can help determine which service is best for you to help you achieve the smile you deserve!

Did you know that sleep apnea often causes snoring, but conversely, snoring does not always indicate sleep apnea? Due to its difficulty being diagnosed as we often fail to consciously wake up when it affects us, sleep apnea can go untreated for years. Getting checked for sleep apnea is important though because it can cause a variety of health issues including irregular heartbeats, stroke, and even heart attacks.

Have you been diagnosed with sleep apnea? If so, here are some treatment methods:

– Your sleeping traditions could be a contributing factor to your sleep apnea. The direction in which you sleep and how much you toss and turn at nights could affect, cause, or contribute to the sleep disorder.

– If you have sleep apnea, there are services that can open your airway, including a CPAP, also called a continuous positive air pressure device, which can open airways through your nasal passages.

– There are oral health care treatments for sleep apnea that can keep your airway open as you sleep.

– There are surgical treatments which can be used to prevent sleep apnea from occurring.

There are two types of sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea, which is produced by a blockage in the airway, and central sleep apnea, which is caused by failed signals from your brain to your breathing muscles. If you are in need of a treatment for sleep apnea, our Denver Restorative Dentistry team in Broomfield, Colorado can help.

To schedule a visit with our prosthodontists, Dr. Goggins or Dr. Esguerra, please call 303-586-1019 today to schedule a consultation. We are pleased to provide dental sleep therapy to help you get the sleep you deserve!
